The iridium uses a smaller diameter electrode and is therefore less prone to having the spark blow out under high boost/high pressure (like N2O). They are a little cheaper than the double platinum, and last as long. The number in the part number designates the heat range. They aren't the extended reach that the stock TT plug uses, but I am not aware of any problems with these plugs despite some conjecture that the extended reach is necessary. A company that carries them is Monarch products, phone # (951) 672-8501. Another option is the PFR7B, which is the NA type plug (non-extended reach) in a 7 heat range, pre-gapped at .032. Hope that helps, Mark
